Do you want to develop good habits? Are you frustrated by failed resolutions? Do you wish you had the willpower to floss everyday, and not just the week before your dentist appointment? Simple habits can be developed one at a time, one day at a time. Habitude is a progress monitoring application to help you build good habits and eliminate bad ones. Viewing a record of past successes can boost your willpower when you feel weak, and help you gear up for future challenges.
Are negative thoughts affecting your daily activities, emotions, and relationships? A series of experiments in the journal Psychological Science1 shows that we can free ourselves from the impact of negative thoughts, simply by throwing them away. In the studies, subjects wrote positive or negative thoughts on a piece of paper or into a text document on a computer. They then either saved their thoughts or discarded them away. Later, subjects who had thrown their thoughts away were less affected by them than subjects who had held onto their thoughts.
